Tonight I realised regardless of the lineup the issue is very clear. We play in a way where we’re scared to lose the ball. Simple. As soon as Mainoo and palmer came on they linked the play in tight spaces, willing to lose the ball in the process. A team like ours should be taking chances and just playing their football. If we accept we will lose the ball at times it creates a mentality of once lost, press and win it straight back!! Palmer purposely lost possession when at the byline earlier to then win it back and put himself in a better position at goal. No anxiety. And that Gordon pass to Mainoo late on 😍😍😍 the following dink to play us in on goal from Mainoo too.
